Project Summary
The Red Sea Project is a regenerative tourism megaproject on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. The project is built on ninety pristine islands, with nine islands designated as sites of significant environmental value to preserve the life cycle of the endangered wildlife inhabiting the area. The first phase includes the construction of sixteen luxury hotels, totaling three thousand rooms, spread across five islands, in addition to two resorts in the mountain and desert areas to accommodate three hundred thousand visitors. It also includes commercial, entertainment, and retail facilities, as well as other infrastructure amenities, yacht marinas, and an airport for the destination.
